On the 24. september Rarities will be re-released as 2 CD edition.

In comparison to the first version from 2001 more b-sides and remixes from the “Love In The Time Of Science” era are included.

Emiliana Torrini’s hit Jungle Drum can be seen in the current ad “Inspired By Iceland”.

The ad shall attract tourists to choose Iceland for their holidays and to show that Iceland is safe after the vulcan eruption.

The campaign is supported by various tourist associations, the icelandic government and the city Reykjavík.

It’s now known,  Emiliana is expecting her first child!
Congratulations.

On the basis of this,  no more concerts are planned for this year. But Emiliana will take the time to work on some new songs.
A release date for the new album is not known till yet.
